WAY TO GO GIRLS!! Our 12's really did it this time they took first in the gold round by defeating Team Momentum in the Westminster tournament held February 20th. Coach Maggie and Coach Lester could not be more proud of their players (not to mention the entire club) for all their hard work they put in the whole entire day. Girls enjoy your victory

The 12's went UNDEFEATED yesterday and won the Flo Valley Classic Tournament. Their teamwork, communication and team spirit were all huge factors in their victorious day!! Not to mention, their incredible passes, sets, hits, blocks, serves and saves. The energy that they possess as a team is very impressive to those around them. Numerous opponents have commented on what a great team they are -- not only because of their volleyball skills but because they have so much FUN playing the game, cheering, dancing, singing, etc. together as a unified team. We are very proud of our 12's! WIN and SHINE, GO ACES!!!

Libby Hunt a middle hitter/blocker is NCA 12's player of the week. She served her personal best by serving 95% while making numerous blocks this past Sunday. While she sprained her ankle in the final game of pool play she inspired her teammates to win and shine which they did by winning the silver bracket.

The player of the week is Amelia Meier for her outstanding play at the Westminster tournment. Amelia's passing was exceptional and her serving in game 3 of the championship gave her team the lead and ultimately brought them the victory. Amelia manged to get her team to 8 before the opponet even though the Aces were down 7-3 when she began serving.

There's close to 400 recipes in the book with alot of helpful hints. There's alittle bit of everything in this book. We even have a few recipes for diabetics.
The cookbooks sell for 10.00. If you know of anyone who would like to purchase a copy you can e-mail me or call me at 314-956-2727.

Along with this picture the picture in the top left hand corner is the 13's practice squad making their first apperance in the Flo Valley Classic. They played hard and I feel that they learn alot after the nerves worked themselves out. The girls have come along way in their play. Their next tournament will be held on March 20th at McCluer North High School.

Our first month of tournaments are almost finished and having attended most of them I can say that the teams are looking good.
I really think we have a wonderful coaching staff and a great group of girls playing for us. I have also been able to meet alot of the parents and I'm impressed by the support they give both the girls and the club.
I really enjoy going to all the tournaments and I have seen some really great volleyball being played by our teams. Going into our second month I know we will have continued success.
I'm sorry for the slow updating of the system but I'm still learning it. Janet
